一般点灯 Light Offering

「灯」是光明与智慧的表征，亦为十种供养之一。燃灯供佛始于佛说灯是光明与智慧的表征，是佛门中重要的供养具之一。
《无量寿经》说：「为世之灯明，乃人间最胜之福田。」
《华严经》也说：「慧灯可以破诸暗。」
《菩萨藏经》中说：「燃点十千灯明，以忏灭众罪业」，十千即是一万。
据《施灯功德经》上对于佛前供灯、布施灯具的功德有记载：“以此布施所作善业，能获安乐、可乐之果、与欢喜心相应、于佛法生信心。”

注：实际燃灯的蜡烛非页面之图片。道场会以蜡烛燃点的天数帮您做供灯。道场的供灯时间在早上七点至傍晚六点做为一天。

The lamp symbolizes light and wisdom, and is one of the ten offerings in Buddhist practice.

Offering light to the Buddha originates from the teaching that light represents the radiance of wisdom, and it is considered one of the most important offerings in Buddhism.

The Infinite Life Sutra states: “Being a lamp for the world is the most supreme field of merit in the human realm.”

The Avatamsaka Sutra states: “The lamp of wisdom can dispel all darkness.”

In the Bodhisattva Treasury Sutra, it is written: “Lighting ten thousand lamps serves as repentance and extinguishes all negative karma.”

According to the Sutra on the Merit of Offering Lamps, it is said: “Through the wholesome act of offering light, one can obtain peace and joy, reap pleasant fruits, gain a joyful heart, and give rise to deep faith in the Buddha's teachings.”

Note:

The actual candles used for the lamp offering are not those shown in reference images.

The temple will perform the lamp offering on your behalf, using candles that will be lit for the designated number of days.

The daily lamp offering time is from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, which constitutes one full day of offering.
