孝道月法会 Filial Piety Month Dharma Service
农历七月，佛教称为「孝道月」，是行孝报恩、超荐度亡、广修福德的重要时节。佛光山将举办系列孝道月法会：
During the lunar seventh month, Buddhism observes “Filial Piety Month” — a sacred time to express gratitude to one’s parents, make offerings for the deceased, and cultivate blessings and virtue. Fo Guang Shan will be holding a series of Filial Piety Month Dharma Services as follows:
法会内容：Details of Dharma Services:
1. 恭诵《地藏经》
《地藏菩萨本愿经》教导孝亲报恩、超荐亡灵，藉由诵经功德，祈愿现世亲人平安健康，过去父母、冤亲债主，得离苦趣，往生善道。
1. Reverent recitation of the Sutra of the Original Vows of Kṣitigarbha Bodhisattva
This sutra teaches the principles of filial piety, repaying kindness, and delivering the departed. Through the merit of reciting the sutra, we pray for the peace and health of our loved ones in this life, and for the deliverance of past parents and karmic creditors — helping them transcend suffering and be reborn in wholesome paths.
2. 供僧法会
遵照佛陀教示，供养十方僧众，回向现世父母及历代祖先，消灾延寿，离苦得乐。供僧是修福最快的法门之一。
2. Offerings to the Sangha Dharma Service
Following the Buddha’s teachings, offerings will be made to the Sangha of the ten directions. The merit will be dedicated to current parents and past ancestors, praying for longevity, well-being, and liberation from suffering. Offering to the Sangha is regarded as one of the swiftest ways to cultivate blessings.
3. 恭诵《盂兰盆经》
学习目犍连尊者「孝心救母」的精神，实践佛教的孝道思想，以功德回向亲人及一切众生，福慧双增。
3. Reverent Recitation of the Ullambana Sutra
This recitation honors the spirit of Maudgalyāyana’s filial devotion in saving his mother, embodying the core Buddhist value of filial piety. The merit is dedicated to all parents and sentient beings, increasing both blessings and wisdom.
4. 瑜伽焰口法会（施食度亡）
普施孤魂，济度饿鬼，超荐历代祖先、冤亲债主，解除冤结，得以离苦得乐、往生净土。
4. Yoga Flaming Mouth Dharma Service – Food Offering for the Departed
Offerings are made to wandering spirits and hungry ghosts, dedicating merit to ancestors and karmic creditors. Through this ritual, karmic entanglements are resolved, suffering is relieved, and the departed are guided to rebirth in Pure Lands.
5. 水忏法会
礼拜《慈悲三昧水忏》，以至诚忏悔，洗涤业障，清净身心，祈愿家庭和乐，现世安稳，福慧圆满。
5. Compassionate Water Repentance Dharma Service
Participants will respectfully recite the Compassionate Samādhi Water Repentance, sincerely repenting past wrongdoings to purify karmic obstacles and cleanse body and mind. Prayers will be made for family harmony, peace in the present life, and fulfillment of blessings and wisdom.
孝道行，报亲恩；供僧施食，利益有情。
诚邀大众同霑法益，共植福田，广结善缘，现生安乐，后世解脱。
Filial piety repays our parents’ boundless kindness. Offering to the Sangha and feeding hungry spirits benefits all sentient beings.
